‘What Happy People in the world do?’

Happiness is not something ready made. It comes from your own actions. – Dalai Lama

What-Happy-People-In-The-World-Do.jpg

There are two types of people in the world: those who choose to be happy, and those who choose to be unhappy. Contrary to popular belief, happiness doesn’t come from fortune, fame, material possessions, or other people. Rather, it comes from within. The richest person in the world could be miserable, while a homeless person could be walking around with a spring in every step. Happy people are happy because they make themselves happy. They maintain a positive outlook on life and remain at peace with themselves.

The question is: how do they do that?

It’s quite simple. Happy people have good habits that enhance their lives. They do things differently. Ask any happy person, and they will tell you that they …

Don’t hold grudges.

Happy people understand that it’s better to forgive and forget than to let their negative feelings crowd out their positive feelings. Holding a grudge has a lot of detrimental effects on your wellbeing, including increased depression, anxiety, and stress. Why let anyone who has wronged you in the past have power over your wellbeing? If you let go of all your grudges, you’ll gain a clear conscience and enough energy to enjoy the good things in life.

Treat everyone with kindness.

Did you know that it has been scientifically proven that being kind makes you happier? Every time you perform a selfless act, your brain produces serotonin, a hormone that eases tension and lifts your spirits. Not only that, but treating people with love, dignity, and respect also allows you to build stronger relationships.

See problems as challenges.

The word “problem” is never part of a happy person’s vocabulary. A problem is viewed as a drawback, a struggle, or an unstable situation while a challenge is viewed as something positive like an opportunity, a task, or a dare. Whenever you face an obstacle, try referring to it as a challenge.

Express gratitude for what they already have.

There’s a popular saying that goes something like this: “The happiest people don’t have the best of everything; they just make the best of everything they have.” You will have a deeper sense of contentment if you count your blessings instead of yearning for what you don’t have.

Dream big.

People who get into the habit of dreaming big are more likely to accomplish their goals than those who don’t. If you dare to dream big, your mind will keep itself in a focused and positive state.

Don’t sweat the small stuff.

Happy people ask themselves, “Will this problem matter a year from now?” They understand that life’s too short to get worked up over trivial situations. Letting things roll off your back will definitely boost your happiness.

Speak well of others.

Being nice feels better than being mean. As fun as gossiping is, it usually leaves you feeling guilty and resentful. Saying nice things about other people encourages you to think positive, non-judgmental thoughts.

Never make excuses.

Benjamin Franklin once said, “He that is good for making excuses is seldom good for anything else.” Happy people don’t make excuses or blame others for their own failures in life. Instead, they own up to their mistakes and, by doing so, they proactively try to change for the better.

Get absorbed into the present.

Happy people don’t dwell on the past or worry about the future. They savor the present. They let themselves get immersed in whatever they’re doing at the moment. Stop and smell the roses.

Wake up at the same time every morning.

Have you noticed that a lot of successful people tend to be early risers? Waking up at the same time every morning stabilizes your circadian rhythm, increases productivity, and puts you in a calm and centered state.

Avoid social comparison.

Everyone works at his own pace, so why compare yourself to others? If you think you’re better than someone else, you gain an unhealthy sense of superiority. If you think someone else is better than you, you end up feeling bad about yourself. You’ll be happier if you focus on your own progress and praise others on theirs.

Choose friends wisely.

Misery loves company. That’s why it’s important to surround yourself with optimistic people who will encourage you to achieve your goals. The more positive energy you have around you, the better you will feel about yourself.

Never seek approval from others.

Happy people don’t care what you think of them. They follow their own hearts without letting naysayers discourage them. They understand that it’s impossible to please everyone. Listen to what people have to say, but never seek anyone’s approval but your own.

Take the time to listen.

Talk less; listen more. Listening keeps your mind open to others’ wisdoms and outlooks on the world. The more intensely you listen, the more your mind eases, and the happier you become.

Nurture social relationships.

A lonely person is a miserable person. Happy people understand how important it is to have strong, healthy relationships. Take the time to see and talk to your family, friends, and significant other, and you’ll feel better about yourself.

Meditate.

Meditating silences your mind and helps you find inner peace. You don’t have to be a zen master to pull it off. Happy people can silence their minds anywhere and anytime whenever they need to calm their nerves.

Eat well.

Junk food makes you sluggish, and it’s difficult to be happy when you’re in that kind of state. Everything you eat directly affects your body’s ability to produce hormones, which will dictate your moods, energy, and mental focus. Be sure to eat foods that will keep your mind and body in good shape!

Exercise.

Studies have shown that exercise raises happiness levels just as much as Zoloft does. Exercising also boosts your self-esteem and gives you a higher sense of self-accomplishment.

Live minimally.

Happy people rarely keep clutter around the house because they know that extra belongings weigh them down and make them feel overwhelmed and stressed out. Some studies have concluded that Europeans are a lot happier than Americans are, which is interesting because they live in smaller homes, drive simpler cars, and own fewer items.

Tell the truth.

Lying stresses you out, corrodes your self-esteem, and makes you unlikeable. The truth will set you free. Being honest improves your mental health and builds others’ trust in you. Always be truthful, and never apologize for it.

Establish personal control.

Happy people have the ability to choose their own destinies. They don’t let others tell them how they should live their lives. Being in complete control of one’s own life brings positive feelings and a great sense of self-worth.

Accept what cannot be changed.

Once you accept the fact that life is not fair, you’ll be more at peace with yourself. Instead of obsessing over how unfair life is, just focus on what you can control and change it for the better.

“Being Rich!!”

image

‘Being Rich!!’ What does that mean? A lot of money? How much?? Well, its difficult to answer. A person with $10 is always richer than the person with $1.
Although, in this world, you can do almost anything by having money in your pocket, money consumes a lot of time in your life, yet it is just a part of your personality! Hamburger tastes the same to everyone! Personality is the only thing that makes you the real rich person!
Why every other person in the world is not billionaire(I’m not looking for millionaires)? I assume 70% of the population are capable of doing hard work, and they do! Then why only 2-3% are billionaires?

image

Its because they are the ‘billionaire thinker’ before being a billionaire! Its due to the way they choose to respond to the situation they face! The billionaires are the people who does the less physical hard work, compared to the other people. But their belief on themselves is the highest than anyone else in the world. They look at the situations in a broader way.
All the billionaires are the businessman, who meets the hundreds of people daily and so that they faces the most difficult situations in their life, but their response to the situations makes it look easier!
Their ability to look at the objective is different. They focus 100% on the challenges, where normal people tend to look for their social status, designation. Those things comes naturally with success to the rich people. Rich people look for the competition on a broader level, whereas normal people compete on personal or human level.

image

So, to be the rich person, first start looking at the things in a broader view,be the ‘billionaire thinker’,dont get tangled in a small obstacles, focus like a laser! Celebrate every small success, but Dont get satisfied with it. Always keep the goals bigger than your capability.
Dream is something which you think you cannot get it in this life, but you jump for it, and you achieve it! So dream something larger than life. Dreams come true. Beilieve it,believe in yourself! Its not the money, but the personality that makes you rich!
Do what you Love! Be the RICH!! First with the Heart then with the Money!

‘The Virtual Reality’

image              I have observed that, these days people react to the situations instead of responding to it. If you look at machines, it also does the same! Elecronic machines like computer has its own program,in which how to react to any random situation is written.          Computer programming is nothing but the advance planning of reactions! Sometimes when I look at the speed, that machines are taking place in our life, I feel like these machines are the aliens, who are trying to attack on our life! At the beginning, they were having a smaller part of our life. And with the faster pace and aggration, they are taking control of our whole life.          These days people are losing their feelings. The couples who are in Love, instead of enjoying each others company, they stick to virtual world, where they get different ways to express love virtually and even different kind of issues to get seperated as well. The ‘missing’ part of love is really missing out these days, as people feel connected to each other by social sites. And so even when they get seperate, they get recovered quickly, because they have the computers, social sites with them. If those couples were meeting more time in real than virtual, they would be having more time and feeling with each other.
image

I think, we need this technology, but a controlled use is important. Or else in future, instead of ‘human beings’, we will be known as ‘Machines’. Things look better with feelings,so ‘being human’ is better than ‘being machines’.           Hrishi

‘Lets have a Luxurious life’

image

“Hrishi, I am having luxurious life. No tension of Job,no tension of getting upgraded. My father has well settled business. I am so lucky, I dont need to move single feet to get anything.” One of my school friend was saying this to me.
A perfect life for anyone on the earth, isn’t it? Actually,When he used the word ‘luxurious’, my mind got attentive for his next few words, to know ‘the elements of luxurious life’.
Having a good shelter, spending money on shopping and parties, getting day time sleep, having enormous variety of food and no need to learn anything related to acadmic knowledge. This is what I understood about ‘luxurious life’ from him.
Do you think thats ‘luxurious’? Most of you will say ‘yes’. But I have got a little different perspective about it.
Life is luxurious, when it doesnt allows you to sleep! The inventions of technology are to make life easy and not ‘lazy’. Everyone of us has got a limited life span to spend on earth. So, we should try to increase the involvement of ourselves,in every fraction of second of our life,by using the technologies.
The luxurious life and the lazy life, are the two sides of a coin! In both the lifestyles, people use technologies, gadgets but for different perspective. Luxurious life is something which makes you grow! I didn’t see any growth opportunity in my friend’s lifestyle.
We must have known to the Google Car. It doesnt require the driver. Even hyundai has made the same car before google (Personally i loved the hyundai car concept) And the news is that, the concept of interactive cars is also going to launch soon.
These cars will interact with other cars. For example, if someone wants to take a sudden U turn on the road, car will send auto message to the cars around it! Your own car will get know the moods of you. According to your mood and time of the day, it will interact with you! It will automatically play the music, news according to your mood.
As the car is going to be driven by itself, you can use that time to start your office work from laptop/tablet. It will surely save your daily travelling time! Some of you may be thinking of getting a nap during that time. But it totally depends on you, whether you want luxurious life or lazy life!

‘LETS HAVE A LOOK’

image

I was just looking at the stars in the sky. When i was child, people used to say that, those stars are the bright people who died and they are watching us all the time from there.
But now I am just thinking, what if real aliens are there! They might be able to see us from there planet by using a good quality telescope. But what actually they can see from some million light years! We all know that, Sun is the closest star to us compared to other stars. It takes around 7-8 minutes to reach its rays on the earth.
Then its possible that alien watching from their telescope might be seeing our past years, decades or may be centuries! Even the stars i was watching, might not be present there! It might have died already!
What will happen, if we keep some big mirror facing to the earth, at a long distance, and we see it with the telescope.
Will it be possible to see the past year of earth on that? What if we enter into that mirror, and able to change the past!
And a common question arising in my mind, usually many people have it in their minds, are we real? Or we are in the someone’s dream? What will happen, if we both are sitting and start reading each others mind, then actually who is reading who’s mind?
I would like to go in the past. If its possible to go in the past then why not into the future! We will be having time machines in the future, parked just like our other vehicles in the parking.
It will be amazing to go into the past and meet some people in the past, living those beautiful moments again!

“A journey of a thousand miles begins with a single step”

image

Here we Go! For the first blog post of mine!
Actually I was thinking that how should I get succeed in writing the blogs. Then another question arised in my mind “What is success to you?” ..May be winning the heart of the reader of my blog.
I think writting something interesting, unique but related to both of us will help me to set a strong common platform. ‘Something interesting’ means I have to write the things direct from my heart! Yes!! And probably I’ve started doing the same thing.
I read somewhere, “A thousand miles journey begins with one step, the first step.” I am taking this first step, with my first post. 🙂
